Summer  Programs

We love our summers in Steamboat enjoying the great outdoors, but some players still want to find time to keep up with their soccer skills.

If you are a soccer player looking to take your game to the next level, if you want to keep up on your soccer skills and learn new skills during the summer months, or play small-sided games then check out our Summer Programs!

Small-Sided League provide players more opportunities to get touches on the ball while increasing spatial awareness and decision making. It offers a constant transition from attack to defense with increased 1 vs 1 encounters that will improve ball skills. We will vary the type of SSG each session. Your player may see 3v3, 4v4, or 7v7. Every player loves small-sided games!

The Breakfast Club - Small Group Advanced Training: Training takes place from 7-8 am. Get up and get after it so you can enjoy the rest of your day.

This program is for the player who wants more, who is serious and focused on improving. This program is also suitable for SSC alumni who still want to train for the love of the game or to prepare for their college season.

Why do we hold Breakfast Club at 7 am?

Early morning training sessions, like Breakfast Club, are designed to push players who are serious, committed, and ready to work hard. Training early in the day offers several key benefits:

1. Demonstrates Commitment & Discipline

  • Waking up early and showing up for training requires dedication.
  • Players who attend prove they are willing to go the extra mile to improve.

2. Builds Mental Toughness

  • Overcoming the challenge of early mornings fosters a strong mindset.
  • Players learn to push past discomfort, preparing them for tough game situations.

3. Maximizes Daily Productivity

  • Training early allows players to start the day with purpose and focus.
  • They develop a strong work ethic that carries over into school and other activities.
  • Morning sessions ensure players get their training in without conflicting with summer jobs and other activities.
