Registration closes: 

1)Referees- We aim to have a referee for each game. If you are interested, or a team member interested, please reach out. We’ll pay $15 a game

2)Rules- We will have some simple rules for the event:

• All players must sign onto the roster before competing, with rosters completed at check-in.
• Goalkeepers can distribute (hands or feet) across midfield from goal kick of a save; can if passed back to-- no punting
• Substitutions on the fly allowed
• A female must be on the field at all times, if you don't you must play down a player
• Kick-ins instead of throw-ins,  no direct goals from kick-ins 
• Players must be 3 yards away on all free kicks
• Penalties will result in a player starting at the top of the box, with all other players besides the goalkeeper behind the mid-line. 

3)Game Length/Info- Each team will play 3 games of 2, 18 minute halves. We will have a Semi-Final and Final after those group games commence.

4) Liability Waivers- Reminder that all players must sign a liability waiver before competing

5)Footwear - We ask that no cleats be worn at Steamboat Montessori School and no turf shoes, only flats such as tennis or running shoes, be worn.

6) Colors - We are asking that each team have a primary and secondary color. These should be a light and dark color, and we request that all colors match; no navy, royal, or black for a team that is "blue." If you do not have matching colors, we will provide bibs.

7) Shinguards are optional

8)  Scoring and Tie Breakers- We will have 3 groups, where the group winner advances to the Semi-Finals and a Wildcard for Semi Final. We will have 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 for a loss. We will use the following tie-breakers:

-Head to Head (if applicable)

-Goal Difference 

-Least Goals Conceded

-Most Goals Scored

-Penalty Shootout
