Winter Programs




We love our snowy winters in Steamboat skiing, but some players still want to find time to keep up with their soccer skills.

Futsal: One of our most popular programs! Sunday Futsal is a 5v5 format (4 field players + a goalkeeper) Games are 40 minutes long and are played with a heavier low-bounce ball. Futsal is a fast-paced game that provides the opportunity to improve players' decision-making skills, more touches on the ball, confidence in 1v1 situations, and is loads of fun!

3v3 & Small-Sided Games provides players more opportunities to get touches on the ball while increasing spatial awareness and decision-making. It offers a constant transition from attack to defense with increased 1v1 encounters that will improve ball skills. 3v3 is also a lot of FUN!


Summit Training: Technical & tactical development through rondos, positional play, and small-sided games. This is for players who are committed to their development.


Speed & Agility: Improve on your ability to stop, start, & change direction with and without the ball.  Program elements will include muscle activation, speed/agility, power, and strength.


Goalkeeper Training is designed to keep players sharp in preparation for the spring season. Players will work on the following skills:

  • Footwork and handling
  • Shot stopping and shot handling
  • 1v1s and breakaways
  • Reactions/reflexes
  • Crosses and highballs
  • Distribution

Futsal

Montessori Gym, U8-U19 Divisions

$150/player

The program runs 1/5/25 – 2/13/25

Games are played on Sundays and usually do not start until the afternoon. You still have time to ski.

$150/player per player for a 6-week league
